Ulta follows Bijli, a migrant domestic worker in Delhi, employed by Richa, an affluent woman with hidden tensions in her home. Between chores, beauty parlour visits, and late-night cigarettes with Raj, the security guard who loves her, Bijli quietly observes the hypocrisies of privilege. One day, she discovers a mysterious door near the garbage chute that leads to a reversed world — where she is the madam and her employers serve her.
